This nymph lived in the cave below with her other cave nymph friends. One day she got curious about the world outside and she climbed up. As soon as the light touched her face she turned to stone. From then on she has served as a warning for other adventurous nymphs.

My entry for the nymph challenge over on Artorder. In greek myhs nymphs turn into different things all the time either because they want to/protection or punishment and I wanted to do something with this.

I used a this photo [link] from the lovely Kxhara [link] as reference which was a great help.

This is the croppped version the original is 32x41cm but I want to do a view touchups to that one. You can see it in my scraps [link]
