Ink and watercolour painting based on an old photograph of Robert Louis Stevenson in the Writers' Museum in Edingburg Scotland. RLS on the bow of the Equator.
Nice use of the reds and greens!
Thank you. this is one of my personal favs to be honest
your choice of colors and the linework combine for a really vibrant piece. Well done!
Wonderful work and technique! Just stunning!
This is wonderful in so many ways! Light and shadows look amazingly vivid from far, and enlarged it's a fantastic line puzzle. I just can't stop zooming it in and out!
wow this is so well done. love what you have done with the sky. Beautiful
Very happy you like it! I find sky one of the most difficult things to do( that and chins) Especially in ink and watercolour.
Very good work! Beautiful composition and shadding!
Composition is mostly the photographers handiwork. I guess that's what drew me to the photo in the first place. I just cropped it a little. But thank you for liking my shading
Love the texture! It gives a great sense of motion.
Thank you! Funny, I've been concentrating so hard trying to make sense of a sketchy sketch I had done from a blurry photo that I completely forgot to think about stuff like motion. Happy it showed up on it's own accord
Fantastic picture! I love the combination of green and red in this and the strokes are just amazing. I love how you've overlapped them to make such a unique texture!
